Mark M
Not sure if this is going to be within my budget or not but whats out there that I can use to project my company logo onto a wall/floor? Can it rotate? I know I could use a mover but thats way over my budget sadly as good as it would look. Its a very simple logo (not sure if I can link to it incase of advetising rules but its bascially one 8 letter word with a circle in front of it) I pressume I would have to get a gobo made up but from where Im not sure? Thanks, Mark

Mark M
Links work fine at this end. Chiefy, thanks for the link but looking at the prices I think your budget and my budget are some way off sadly. It was a long shot but I will have to go back to the drawing board. Chiefy
If you can let me know what your budget is for this, I might be able to help you further? Maybe PM me if you don't want to give it away over the forum?
Mark M
No problem about disclosing my budget, everyone will already have worked out Im a tight wod on a very tight budget. Ideally I was looking for something under the £100 mark. I know you get what you pay for so I may be wasting my time with a budget so small? I would like to have one rotating and one fixed. A concurrent post has been automatically merged from this point on. Has anyone any experience of this showtec one? Cheap and Chinese I know but can get it for a little over £100? http://www.highlite.nl/index.php/highlite/...rzone_logo_beam
revbobuk
Bizarre - on this machine, IE hits a 404 error, but Firefox and Chrome both work fine.

musht
Rotating is expensive, static needn`t be http://www.terralec.co.uk/par_cans/gobo_ho...16/17176_p.html Can print a short life gobo on transparency, longer life glass or metal, custom gobos aren`t particularly cheap, recent discussion of suppliers here , think Projected Image Digital are local to you. KevinE
You could try the NJD RAP250, it takes just the 1 gobo and has 250W a1/259 lamp.retailer
J Pearce
Get a glass gobo made up and use a PAR16 profile? I can't find a link for one atm, but its basically a PAR16 with a lens arrangement that fits onto the colour frame. That might just come in under £100, depending on how much the gobo costs. [edit]I'm half asleep and somehow missed that musht said that earlier...
tony g
buy a secondhand patt252, you should get one for under £100, there are lots out there, then print your logo on acetate using a xerographic printer sandwhich between glass and fit between the condenser and objective of the 252 or print similarly to acetate, put in a glassed slide mount and use a conventional slide projector. church
you want cheap buy an old 35mm slide projector and have a slide made. rent a Rosco IPRO and you can make a logo using an overhead slide and it can be projected using a Source4 using the 575w lamp. also works with other similar ellipsoidals. All you need is the slide kit and a regular overhead slide plus an ink jet printer
