lgreen
Hi, We have got a show coming up next week with projections and are planning to use Motion Dive tokyo. One problem is how to output. I have read on the internet that you can output to DV but don't know how to. Has anyone ever used this program and knows how to output dv. ThanksLewis
kitlane
According to this website it can't output to DV. Why do you want to output DV? I assume by DV you mean the digital video format that is used by camcorders and transmitted via Firewire? With most VJ software you normally output VGA, DVI or HDMI from your graphics card - often the second output of a dual head card.

sleepytom
softwarevj.com is wildly inaccurate about a lot of functions in most of the software it lists (the whole thing is a little pointless as nobody seems to check any of the information supplied) MDT can output to your projector by VGA using the dualview function of your graphics card. It might explain how to set this up in the manual of the software, if not then you can google for dualview / extended desktop and find plenty of help to get your laptop outputing to the projector. (try searching on www.vjforums.com - this topic has been extensively covered there countless times)
