cP0x
Hey, Iv'e got 2 Martin Mac 700's hooked up on DMX, I was wondering if someone could point me the right direction on how to create the "split beam effect" from them? I've had a play with all the gobos and animation wheel but can't seem to get anywhere. CheersOllie
Ynot
Can you be clearer on exactly what you mean by 'split beam'?
cP0x
By Split Beam I mean it looks like the nova flower effect if you know what that is. Kinda like light rays from the source. The effect features on the demo video at http://www.maxxyz.de/product/product.asp?p...t=mac700profile towards the end when the light pans down with rotating beams. Ynot
Well, that would likely be the radial beams gobo being rotated through haze/smoke.Or for a tunnel like effect, something like the optional 'phones' gobo - basically a circle of holes. Simples.
johnhuson
If it's the effect in open white as it tilts down you'll find that's the animation wheel creating the effect. If it's the effect that changes colour shortly after that you'll find it's the three rings gobo on the fixed wheel combined with the prism, it's the same effect that the unit pans round and projects onto the surface behind it.
