dunk
Afternoon, I have a client that wants a specific type of LED batten for a job, mainly because of its small size. I have seen them but cant remeber what they are called or who makes them.... Basically, it is a about 1" x 1" in height and depth and they vary from 1ft, 2ft and 3ft in length. They are made from extruded aluminium and are finished in a matt grey/matt aluminium finish. They have an opaque frost plastic cover on the leds. The LEDs are in a single row of a repetitive pattrern of RGBRGBRGBRGBRGB, etc etc. I belive they are single 1w leds. Lastly, they take an input via a cat 5 cable, which I assume carries the data and power. The cat 5 cables then go back to a controller which is then waiting for DMX. They can also be run on standalone if DMX isnt necessary. I recall them being made by a reputable brand - but thats all I know! Cheers, Dunc

KidRay
Thanks for asking the question, you've saved me a phone call to the LD of a festival we played at recently where these fixtures were used as eye candy/stage dressing, and a very good job they did too! I was sure they were longer than 1200mm. Appearances can be deceptive!
