lifeisacabaret
Hi guys, I'm genuinely interested as to why so many product editors (and the required Studio Manager software) are available from Yamaha, but not the M7 and LS9? Seems odd...and quite annoying! Does anyone know of anything 'in the pipeline' and if there is a reason for this slight oddity? Cheers! J
mervaka
I could complain about them not making a release for linux, but I don't. they just don't justify it right now.
tolley1466
Just use bootcamp! It's not that much of an inconvenience.

mervaka
dont worry, I was making a point about native builds  linux really is a pain when it comes to drivers though, as consumers and manufacturers are in this chicken and egg situation. the same could probably be said here. J The major issue stopping the creation of editors is the Network driver that is used to communicate with the desks. As far as I hear there are no plans to port this to Mac. TomHoward
It's because of the network driver - all the older ones ran over USB.
