bananaman
http://www.flickr.com/photos/8554641@N04/4...157622782866600 Red blue and green are easy enough. What about the rest?

grizzly
What's on the other end of the cable? A molded VGA connector? If so, you need to know the VGA pinout: Clickythen get a multimeter/continuity bleep, and identify the rest of the wires. Pete McCrea
I'd put a pint on black and yellow as +ve H and V with White and brown being the -ve. Right now I can't remember ( and it varies Manu to Manu) as which is H and which is V. I'd suggest that it doesn't matter which way the -ve's go as they all go to ground anyway, so try black as H and Yello as V to see if that works. Sorry I can't be more help! Nick Mawer
Looks like a Kramer WXA-1 wallplate there http://www.kramerelectronics.co.uk/product...del.asp?pid=362 but the cable does not look like one of ours. Still if we can be of further help - call us on 01296 330011
Shez
I'd put a pint on black and yellow as +ve H and V with White and brown being the -ve. Right now I can't remember ( and it varies Manu to Manu) as which is H and which is V. I've wired up far more installation plates than I care to remember and can confidently say that it varies. :D However, for that combination of colours, from my experience, brown has been ground, yellow & white were H & V (can't remember which way around) and ignore black. But always meter out the cable (or the cut end which is usually more convenient!) to be sure.
Pete McCrea
We tend to use the Kramer wires (as we use the faceplates, so it makes sense to buy from 1 source..), and they brilliantly have the wires running RGBHV in the bundle, so you always know where you are with their cables.
