Bryson
Could you get away with simulating UV, by using high power (1200W) movers in the deepest possible blue? Or (as GRisdale hints) maybe by colouring some HMI floods with Congo Blue or a custom-cut dichroic?? Both solutions would look OK IMO and have the same effect as real UV, on fluorescent materials. Paging Dr Wood..... :D I can recommend the Wildfire Fresnels. They're probably harder to find in hire stock, but they are really good, and the barndoors are a welcome addition. robloxley
robloxley - UV-pass glass sounds interesting. Hadn't come across it despite quite a bit of googling. You need to google for Wood's glass. Rosco will sell you it (http://www.rosco.com/us/filters/permacolor.asp?displayFile=colorscoatings#woodglass).Also is the UV-A as carginogenic as B & C?
