rlower
Right so we have a faulty Unique hazer, just wondering if you've any ideas.I'm not the best with the workings of hazers, but here we go. The heat protection switch on the element keeps on 'tripping'.The hazer seams ok when theres a pump rate above 65, I'm guessing the amount of fluid is cooling running through the pipe is cooling the end of the element with the sensor. Anyone had this fault before? Would it be a fault with the element, or the heat protection device?
niclights
I've had this before. Units went back to White Light for repair. I believe the fault was intermittent pump failure resulting in no fluid in coil and overheating. It definitely wasn't a heater fault.
JDLX
Yep we have the same problem with one of ours. I just leave 2 screws loosely done up on the side and reset the internal switch when it trips at the moment!
niclights
That's easy on the mk1's, but a huge pain on the mk2's. How they managed to mess up the re-design so badly I really can't understand!
