Tom
I'm trying to source anything bird related for un upcoming production. Stuffed birds, mounted in glass cases, would be fantastic, but anything bird related would be of interest.Pottery with birds onPaper BirdsPosters of BirdsBird's Eggs The play is set in flat owned by a bird obsessed man. So, if anybody has something in their props store they think might be suitable, do please let me know. Thanks in advance. T
davidpibworth
We have a couple of prop vultures which were recently used in the stage version of Ripping Yarns. They are about the real size and we can look them out if you're interested.DavidMK Theatre Of Comedy www.mktoc.co.uk

boac
There is, or certainly used to be, a taxidermist shop on Essex Road in Islington called Get Stuffed. Pretty sure they hire as well as sell, you could try there (or look for other taxidermy emporiums). It's worth a visit just for the weirdness! Tom
Yup - know about them and all the other taxidermists thanks. What I'm after is the weird and wonderful stuff ferreted away in people's stores, attics etc. T
Jivemaster
Have you spoken with the RSPB? Firstly several "Bird" things are legally protected, the first thing being birds eggs and collections of them. They may even have period posters or e-copies available for a nominal price. Posters cover a lot of wall!
