ChazHS
Hi guys, Has anyone used any of the Thomann T.Amp Digital Range? They are all 1U and the specs on paper seem very very good. Does anyone have any of these amps? And if so what's your opinion of them? Thanks.
greenalien
I have been thinking of getting a T.AMP D3400 - 1kW per channel into 8 ohms looks just the job for a pair of PS15s - and I like the 9.5kg weight - but they don't give detailed specs - is this RMS, music power or what? no THD figures or damping factor either - and they're currently out of stock! So - I can't answer your query but have added a few of my own! :** laughs out loud **:
Alec
they don't give detailed specs - is this RMS, music power or what? Which has always been my gripe about the Behringer power amps. The 2400 is "2 x 1,200W", but I always assume that if it doesn't say RMS then it isn't. That said, I'm very happy with mine, but wish they could be more honest & open about what you're actually getting.

I have not tested at 2 ohms but suspect they would run out of steam with sine wave testing.Brian
Rob_Beech
I tried a D2800 on demo about 18 months back. It was nice sounding, and delivered ok at 8 ohms and 4 and 2 ohms for mid top duty. For LF reproduction it started running out of legs if you pushed it too hard at 4ohms and I can assume from this it would not have been reliable or stable for LF at 2ohms. Worth the money I suppose, I sent my demo model back though. That said, I believe since then there have been a few changes to the design. Whether I performs better or not I couldn't tell you. Nor could I tell you how significant the changes are.
