Ynot
Sorry, but why?Whilst the cab in the show is iconic, what that car actually IS is not that important.I've seen it done with different coloured cars of different makes and shapes - it doesn't really matter. If you're going for accuracy, then import a 70s cab from the States!! I'm all for getting accuracy where practical, but trying to get an exact replica of what is essentially just a prop to dance on is just a bit too far. Get an old banger, rip the guts out of it and paint it yellow. Stick a TAXI sign on top and away you go.

Ragdoll
Scenic Projects have one 01502 575000 I made one in 2007 exactly as Ynot suggested and when I had nowhere to keep it at the end of the show I sent it to them. We used the front end (space was limited) of a 1970's car - can't remember model but can look it up if you're desperate, did a bit of body work to the front with filler, painted it yellow, shoved said taxi sign on the roof and bought some black and white check vinals to go down the side as it was cheaper than spending the time painting them. Good Luck.
