Hi,

Can anyone tell me where I can find those T-bars that take 4 PAR cans, have 2 Bulgin inputs and 8 (4pairs) of IEC out.

Thanks in advance,

Well you will find a suitale dimmer pack manufactured by Pulsar here

Then you just need to add a suitale t bar, lights and stand etc.

Or are you wanting to hire?

Best Wishes,

Hi David,

Thanks for your answer, but I own a sound and lighting company and already have dimmer racks, socapex, moving lites etc.

I`m just literally looking for the prewired T-bar.

Thanks

Hi Paulears,

I too came up with that link after a google search.

The product I am looking for is the one pictured on that site, but the description for it is incorrect.

Thats what they look like - its just literally a T bar, which is prewired, so avoiding having to use any external wiring, keeping it all a lot tidier.

I can find some with built in dimmers for around £100, but dont need that feature for this product as external dimmers are to be used.

Thanks anyway,

Hi Jivemaster,

Thanks - Terralec have them.

I know bulgins are a little dodgy; but practical in this situation.

Yes you can get them through A.C. Lighting they have 8 IEC ins and 2 Buligin (one male and one female). They also do a sixway with dimmers built into the bar - just run a DMX cable to a desk and you have a dimmable show with the minimum of cables. just 1 Powercon input to a 13a socket.

The Number is 01494 441600 ask for me - Ken Poole !

Hi Ken,

Thanks for your response - just out of interest, what are the dimmers like that are in the T-bars?

I used to (ages ago) use some cheapy Botex dimmers which were pretty noisy mains wise and did interfere with audio systems, when running on a single phase in places.

I now use Strand SD6 dimmers, which dont give me any noise whatsoever - I did think about a dimmable T-bar but if the internal dimmers arent up to much, thats no good for me.

Cheers

Simon
