The product I am looking for is the one pictured on that site, but the description for it is incorrect. http://www.r-s.co.uk/media/MARS_BAR.jpg Thats what they look like - its just literally a T bar, which is prewired, so avoiding having to use any external wiring, keeping it all a lot tidier. I can find some with built in dimmers for around £100, but dont need that feature for this product as external dimmers are to be used. Marketeer Posted July 13, 2004 Share Posted July 13, 2004 Yes you can get them through A.C. Lighting they have 8 IEC ins and 2 Buligin (one male and one female). They also do a sixway with dimmers built into the bar - just run a DMX cable to a desk and you have a dimmable show with the minimum of cables. just 1 Powercon input to a 13a socket. I used to (ages ago) use some cheapy Botex dimmers which were pretty noisy mains wise and did interfere with audio systems, when running on a single phase in places. I now use Strand SD6 dimmers, which dont give me any noise whatsoever - I did think about a dimmable T-bar but if the internal dimmers arent up to much, thats no good for me.
