STEVEECRANE Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Hello! Forum newbie here. I have an MX9000 by Behringer - reasonably pleased with it in terms of value-for-money and features, as I am with all their stuff to be honest - however, the gain has just gone 'weird' on channels 5, 9, 13, 17 and 21. It's about 9dB down on each channel compared to all the others and no amount of gain pot adjustment will compensate for it. Obviously there's a pattern here ... but channel 1 remains fine (for now)! Anyone, any ideas? (And please, no "...just return it..." or "...shouldn't've bought it in the first place comments..." - we all know how some folk feel about the big "B". Cheers.). have used two desks (both mx9000a) which both developed the same fault 3 months apart. not so brilliant but do the job when they work. But as many people have said before, and will say again, you get what you pay for. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What fault did you get?<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Channels 5, 12, and 17 had very low gain (or gain pot in-operative), also a routing problem I cannot remember.Jamienip - how did you cure your gain problem? Anyone else: any ideas how to isolate this problem so I know what area to look into? Genuine thanks to everyone who took the time out of their busy schedules to read this; here's hoping! Kind regards, Steve.
