Yamaha 01v96

Hi All

 

I have today successfully cascaded one 01v96 into another. However, I now have a few questions.

 

1) is it possible to setup the two desks so that the master desk runs channels 1-16, and the slave desk 17-32 so that they appear as one in studio maager for example? - I can make both desks talk to studio manager (with two seperate desks in the workspace) but it would be easier if it was all in one window. hope that makes sense!

 

2) I have used the midi in/out ports on each desk connected together to enable the cascade com link (linking of aux control, scenes etc). is there still a way (now having used both midi inputs) that I can control the desk via software such as csc show control with a usb to midi interface?
