chatterbox Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Hi, I am trying to locate a replacement socket for an old analogue colortran berkey desk and dimmer set.The socket on the back of the dimmer is a little bit dicky, so I want to replace it before I sell the items. It is a 10 pin socket with thin blade like pins. Some are upright and some are left to right. If anyone can tell me what it is called then it will be easier to find one - or if anyone knows where I can get one from ( I need the femaile chassis mounting socket).I am in Australia, but can buy it from any country..... You should find a pic here .... http://www.kodakgallery.com/ShareLanding.a...;localeid=en_US Thanks,
Brian Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 It's a 'Jones' connector See here. [EDIT] To be more precise, it's a 300 series with polarising pattern 310
KevinE Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 I think they're known as Beau plugs, now owned by Molex USA. I think Newark do them and can be ordered via Farnell.
