Hi, The place where I work purchased an Ilive 112, and it was the first digital desk I have ever used. I found it incredibly easy to use and could easily configure the desk within a short space of time with out much guidence. From reading other posts it seems that ease of use depends on what you are used to doing - if you have used other digital desks you may find it slightly longer to get to grips with.

As for hire I don't know who would be best, but I think that if you look on the iLive website, in the news section, they mention who is using their desks. Also we purchased ours through Autograph in London, they might know where to hire from

Hope this is helpful

I have an ILive 144 that's available for hire and I'm in Cornwall, I think Impact have A&H ML's. I've spent some time with it on Festivals and tours over the last few years and it's a dream, miles better than the Yamaha sound with a PM5D or M7CL. Not had any white glove refusals, it's easy to get around, operate and sounds great. Run it like a analogue desk don't be afraid of the gain it can cope with red lights (not like the M7CL). Great desk. In the last few years its done shows with these acts on the line-up (FOH & Mon) - Mcfly (Ed used it with caution but once he got over the make he was ok), Alphabeat (the guys loved it as well, took 2 out on their next tour), Stereo MC's (awesome engineer, I was ill during gig so he worked it out himself, when I got back the mix was stunning. Maybe I should keep away in future). That was just last year, there are loads more but you get the picture, it's in the right league. In the past I had to put Midas in at FOH and an ML5000 on Mons if lucky with riders and engineers. Those days have gone and so has the VDC core, I can put an ILive at each end without a white glove problem. If you want to know something or need a desk get get in touch.
