tomy364 Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Which is your opinion about this fixture???Brightness, reliability, speed? I have tested it and it`s have a little loud sound of cooling! Vendor has told me that there exist some upgrade kit whichyou can change existing kit and reduce sound of cooling! Do you maybe have information about it??? THNX
Matt Cowles Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 It is true that there is an upgrade kit available for the MAC 575 Krypton. The original fixture was noisey so we have reworked it to bring the noise level down. It is now at a much more acceptable level, so any new fixtures you buy will be the new quiet version. If you would like to upgrade an existing MAC 575 Krypton the upgrade kit is available free from us until 31st March 2009. It is a simple upgrade as long as you follow the upgrade notes and should not take more than a couple of hours. To arrange an upgrade please contact your Martin dealer. As for your other question in my opinion the fixture is very bright, very fast, very reliable :). In all honesty I will not comment on the features of the product, I will leave that to the rest of the forum, and I am a little biased. However, I can tell you that the fixture has been very reliable since its introduction it is built on the established and reliable MAC 700 platform. HTH
tomy364 Posted February 28, 2009 Author Posted February 28, 2009 THNX on information for the upgrade kit, I have tested Robe 575AT and Martin Mac 575 krypton in the showroom but not together and not on the stage so if anybody have experience with them I will be very grateful on information`s!!!
law99 Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 We have just got 4 of these for our venue and they are very nice fixtures. Fast, great optics and as Matt said, very quiet now (we have the upgraded ones)! I had a look inside one when we got them (could resist :) ) and the quality of them looks outstanding... all in all I'd give it the thumbs up!
