smalljoshua
There used to be a converter box available for DMX to martin protocol, but I don't think you can buy it any more. What lights are they? Josh

smalljoshua
The user manual here (PDF) would be a good start. Josh

muzz26
Hi, If memory serves Martins tend to be in reverse polarity so a switch over box may help. Murray

Nope, if they are the old Martin protocol this won't help I'm afraid; they will need the interface box - it will run up to eight 805s.
KevinE
There's one way you can do it without the Martin converter, you'll need to re-write the CPU firmware and possibly upgrade the CPU at the same time.
Don Allen
This Martin's DMX Explained is a good summary. As well as having reverse polarity on the 3 pin cannon connector, the protocol or word structure is different so a Martin Protocol fixture cannot correctly interpret the DMX commands, even with a phase reverse cable.
