DRStarmer Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Hi, Im currently writting my A level drama lighting design. Last year, as AS level, I was trying to create a water and river effect in the studio at school. I managed this by using a tubular ripple machine. This year I would like to achieve the same effect but with Snow. Does anyone have any ideas or know of any techniques I could use to create a snow storm in our Studio... Thanks.
Smiley Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Discussed in a previous post (using light & not effects machines). Using a mirrorball effect see the link below: http://www.blue-room.org.uk/index.php?showtopic=31107

paulears Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Hire in a snowboy or two. Noisy, but really nice (if a bit wet) snow effect. I personally have never found mirror balls to produce anything that really looks like snow.
