Advice on Cable Tester

Hi.

I have been asked to do lighting/sound for our local Theatre group.

I am looking to buy a audio cable tester and would like some advice if anyone can help please.

 

1 Are these testers testing for open/short circuit, reversed polarity etc?

2 Do I look for one with any special features?

3 Can anyone reccomend a certain Manufacturer.

Behringer CT100 seems to be most people's favourite - lots of features and a good price, available from most places
