wide-load
lloking for a really decent led parcan we have chroma D4'stht give 530 lumens output and I'm lloking for a parcan with a close afect. "health and saftey" in certain venues have decided it's not to safe to use parcans as uplighters. kinda understandable I guess. Does anyone have any decent ideas? wide-load
I was looking at these, I just can't see how to warrant spending that kind of money on them are they really that good? have you had any experience with them?
Paul Turner
Why not take a look at the Colorpuch and Coloursplit. Both these units have a built in power supply, and stand alone functionality, ideal for up lighting in venues that wont allow PAR's on the floor. Also as a Colorblock user, you may like the new Colorblock 2, with almost twice the output and now RGBA. Info on all 3 fixtures can be found here. If you need a demo, please feel free to contact me via PM or phone me in the office on 01494 838329 cheers

Very solidly made and punchy. But I agree they're not cheap. If your looking for an uplighting solution rather than specifically an LED par then there are plenty more options. Certainly the newer ChromaQ options suggested by Paul are probably the most cost-effective professional solution. Beyond that you're looking at the budget end which do the job but are often less refined and may come with control issues. There's a big thread here for more info on these.
