discoian
Trying to choose between the above hazers. I saw the Look Unique and it creates a really fine mist which I can get away with using in most venue's. I was offered a Jem ZR24/7 which has similiar functions but it's output was more fog than an even mist. I've now seen the MVS, how does that compare to the look unique. How fine can it go? I like the variable angle output of the MVS.
thelxbloke
The Unique also has a variable output angle. It's called a roll of gaffa tape under the front or back!
discoian
not quite the advice I was looking for, but thanks for your input!
themadhippy
If you don't want to use stage weights gaffer ,cardboard . or off cuts of dance floor, the unique has an optional diverter nozzle http://www.looksolutions.com/index_e/index.php?Accessories
discoian
well, if I was being honest the diverting abilities of the MVS are a bonus, but I'm more interested in the kind of output it offers compared to the Look Unique 2.
Tim Edwards
I can't comment on the MVS having not used it however for me the unique 2 is the best machine I've used. Really for me the jem and le maitre stuff is not in the same league. Tim
csg
Having used both many times, I far prefer the MVS to the unique. I have found it much easier to create consistent fine effects with the MVS, particularly when very light even haze is required
