Killyp
I wonder how many Senns would get through that :D We've got some dents in SM58 pop shields at school which testify just what a tough microphone it is.
HobitLight
That's pretty impressive! Now lets try some experiments on some other stuff! Any suggestions?

gareth
OK, so you can freeze it, cook it, wash it, feed it beer and drive a car over it - but will it blend? Perhaps someone should e-mail Tom and ask him to find out on our behalf. :D
dbuckley
Its all very well it being tough, but frankly, as illustrated, the SM58 isn't a very good hammer. On the other hand, its a lot better a hammer than my hammer is at being a microphone...
timtheenchanteruk
looks similar to a weeks use at my place!!
Bobbsy
I think this demonstrates the ideal use for the SM58. There are few in my kit and they're ideal for beating musicians who abuse the much better sounding mics I use for sound pickup rather than as hammers. soundgeek
I wonder how many Senns would get through that :** laughs out loud **: We've got some dents in SM58 pop shields at school which testify just what a tough microphone it is. The senn's probably wouldn't get through that - but I think they do sound a lot better!!
