theatre signs [marquees]

I am designing set for our community theatre group,newbridge musical society,county kildare

rep. of ireland,show this year is 42nd.street,I will be fixing theatr/film signs etc to the back wall

of the theatre,probably 8ft x 4ft. such as; al jolsen in the jazz singer etc.the lettering to be picked

out in lightbulbs to simulate `broadway`, also similar for wings,these to be 8ft. x 2ft, fixed

verticaly,looking for ideas/thoughts on size/colours of bulbs; batten holders or similar, have

qualified electrician in our societ[house wiring etc] so atleast have somebody with a bit of electrical

knowledge cheers in advance,our show 2years ago `singing in the rain`won best tech award afrom

I'm looking for ideas/thoughts on size/colours of bulbs, batten holders or similar. I have a qualified electrician in our society who is familiar with house wiring etc. so we have somebody with a bit of electrical knowledge.
