Blaize110
I know I could have put a post in Classifieds, however I do not wish to sell yet, merely gauge if there is any value in the dimmers. I have four Strand Mini 2+ dimmers (5A sockets) and one Mini II (15A sockets) which I am interested in selling. As far as I am aware they are in perfect working order, just requiring a new supply to be wired in. While I am aware these are quite old, I was wondering if anyone knew if their value these days and what I might be able to sell them for? ThanksRory
gareth
I posted a couple for sale here a while ago, and there was no interest in them at all. Draw your own conclusions ...
bruce
You might find some daftie on Ebay (or indeed here - there are one or two dafties around!) that'll give you a few pounds for them - or maybe not. Remember, these units are probably twice as old as you are! I was offered two, with 15A sockets, and a crunchy old mini-2 controller, from a building that was being demolished. All I had to do was disconnect them. I left them for the bulldozer. If you've got any of the octal plugs, sell them separately - you'll probably get a fiver each. springgrove
You might find some daftie on Ebay (or indeed here - there are one or two dafties around!) that'll give you a few pounds for them - or maybe not. Remember, these units are probably twice as old as you are! They do come up on eBay from time to time and usually fetch a few pounds. People interested may not be that 'daft' but just interested in keeping an old system going on a shoestring budget. They may also be interested in spares, e.g. the octal plugs, as suggested. I would give it a go on eBay with a starting price of 99p! Nigel
