Peter F
Anybody - got any ideas where I would start looking for turbosound speaker spares - the parts that I need are a 'passive crossover PX-252/x' , and a 'replacement diaphragm for cd - 212', - any web links or ideas where to look would help - outside of the turbosound web page. as always - thanks I know you aksed specifically for places outside the Turbosound site but I think you will struggle to locate replacements other than going through Turbo direct. This link is a very handy list of all the parts of various Turbosound speakers. ftp://ftp.turbosound.com/tech_data/component_map/compmap.xls Precision Devices Ltd used to, and maybe still do, supply drivers for Turbosound. You might be able to source from them direct but I don't think it will be any cheaper. Sorry I can't be more help. Cheers, Peter
Charlie Jeal
Crystalpro click here are pretty good for turbo spares as are RW Salt in Manchester. Turbo usuallu don't sell to the end user you have to go via a distributor
Simon Lewis
It may be worth contacting Wembley Loudspeaker Co. for recones....
Rob_Beech
Before spending alot of money just check that the driver isn't a P Audio BM - D740. Also, look into why these components have failed. Processing and/or must be lacking somewhere to cause problems. Best to sort this before it happens again. I'm guessing TXD252's as I'm unaware of any other products those drivers (the turbo model number) is used in. Rob
Ben Lawrance
Give Jeff at LMC audio a call. If it's Turbo, he can sort you out. LMC are one of Turbo's biggest distributors, so have a very good relationship with them. I've dealt with them for years, and they are sound guys (pun intended) 2p in the pot Ben
mostlyharmless
Give LMC a call as above - best to go through Turbo - They frequency response check and test the drivers before sending them out (heard some horror storys about PD!), and I doubt you'll find anyone else selling their crossovers!
