jexjexjex
Hi All I'm doing IPAF courses next week (Cat. 1a & 3a) and I was wondering if anyone had any course notes or anything similar that they could email me so I can do some background reading? All information gratefully received.

Simon Lewis
I'm doing IPAF courses next week (Cat. 1a & 3a) and I was wondering if anyone had any course notes or anything similar that they could email me so I can do some background reading? If you want background reading, then the HSE's documents on MEWPs, Work at Height etc. are pretty good. To be honest, the technical content of the IPAF training is fairly basic. dunk_1984
Having just got back from successfully gaining my 3a and 3b  If your instructor is anything like the one I had there's no point doing anything! They do an IPAF produced presentation. 2 theory tests and you get a book entitled "Operators' Safety Guide". If I'm honest there isn't really that much you can do to get ahead.
