which projector???

Can anyone recommend some brands/models of projector for the following application.

 

Small touring variety show - need 2 projectors the same so that I have a spare, and also need 2 lenses - 1 wide angle and 1 regular. The throw distances vary with each venue - from approx 3 metres to 15 metres ( sometimes front projection and sometimes rear projection.

 

I already have a twin screen (back and front projection) 4x3 format, and would like the image to be approx 3metres wide.

 

The projectors need to have keystone - vertical and horizontal - as the venues vary considerably in layout, and it is not always possible to set the projector central to the screen.

 

They also need to be as small and lightweight as possible so that they can be flown (on aeroplanes) in hand luggage if possible (too many fragile things get broken in the hold) (even in flightcases)

 

remote control and reliability also required.......minimum 4000 anti lumens to get over the stage lighting...

 

I will be buying secondhand as the budget wont go to new....

 

Any ideas/suggestion would be appreciated.....

Hi there, you could do worse than look at the Sanyo XP series - good workhorses, not too big, bright, interchangeable lenses and fairly common. The XP 57 (if you can find them) is 5500 lumens. Try audiovisualbay.com - they often have them listed.

A projector with anti brightness. That could be useful....but mixed with stage lights could annihilate in a big explosion....
