MarkPAman
The TT08a has received very good reviews on here but is, unfortunately, way out of your budget. Remember that it has the amps & processing in it though. Mine were an ex-demo pair which cost not too much over £
mervaka
I could throw a QSC HPR112i into the works? has amps/processing inside. I got mine at £700 a go from my local dealer.

Jamie King
Hi Chaz, I can second the RCF TT08 is a stunning little speaker, the Nexo is very good but as its been said its not far of 10 years old and technology moves on, the d&b is also assume but its alot more money than the TT08. I think there is a single 12" sub to go with the TT08 but not sure I would have to check there website.
Killyp
The d&b E8? It's under a year old, just like the E12. I've not had much experience with RCF cabs, but of the club installs (Second Bridge here in Bath), I've been very impressed.
