ChazHS
Anyone else use them? I use their XLR and Phono cables heavily. Manufactured at the Neutrik factory not far from where I live! (Isle of Wight). Anyway, more to the point, does anyone know any GOOD suppliers of Piranha, who hold good stock?

Simon Lewis
Both brands seem to be aimed at MI end users? The Piranha website gives me a headache and tells me very little about the product. I always thought that theatres and hire companies either bought a few drums of good quality cable (Canford, Klotz, Van Damme, Belden etc.) & a crate of Neutriks and got soldering, purchased them from CPC or alternatively had cables made up by VDC? I'll agree their website is shocking. Very few people have heard of Piranha, their professional range of stuff is very very good. The cable is made by Neutrik and all soldered in their factory. The cable they use is incredibly hard wearing and flexible. I find it to be on par with VDC, Sommer etc.
Bobbsy
+1 for Simon Lewis post. Piranha seem mainly aimed at the MI market. There's probably nothing wrong with them but nothing special either...and the lack of tech details are always a drawback. I'm enough of a nerd to enjoying soldering cables and find it therapeutic like knitting...probably the result of years of inhaling those lovely lead fumes!
