Andy! Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 How do you set lights on the strand 300 to solo.. as in a show I need to solo a light whilst in a que. I cant find anything I nthe manual :huh:Andy,
DanielArkley Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 I guess you could make a cue and a bit (X.Y) or something? I'm not all that good with the Strands yet, but I guess you must be able to insert a cue with just the single channel in?
Andy! Posted May 22, 2004 Author Posted May 22, 2004 Yeah but it will be easier to just flash the sub
robloxley Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 Well you can either record it in a cue or call up the channel using a submaster fader/flash button or the keypad.
richard Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 If you want to solo a channel I think you can set the 'Bump mode' to 'flash+solo', then select the channel and press 'bump'. Otherwise you can record the chanel in a sub and I think you can set the sub bump-mode to 'solo' Richard
Andy! Posted May 23, 2004 Author Posted May 23, 2004 Otherwise you can record the chanel in a sub and I think you can set the sub bump-mode to 'solo' Yeah that's what I dont no.. I cant find how to set it to solo:(Andy,
Stu Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Is there a sub button on the 300? Most likely to be in a cluster with Setup, Archive, Live, Groups etc. If there is press that, then it should come up with a list of the submasters. Then find the correct sub, and there should be a load of options - one of which will be to set the bump mode. This is how it works on the 520i anyway.... Stu
SparkySteve Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 for example you wanted to set sub 1 to solo, hit found just left of the number keypad <1> and the on the lcd display you will see several options, I can't remember offhand, but if you have a play with those menues, one of them allows you to set it to solo
chris512 Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 "You can record a bump mode for each individual submaster. To record a bump mode you must be in the Submaster display. To change the bump mode, press to see the submaster display, and hold down the [sHIFT] key and move the trackball to change to edit mode. Select the Bump field for the appropriate submaster and use the [+] or [-] keys or the level wheel to change the bump mode. All submasters are initially set to Flash mode." From the strand 300/500 series manual And then select the solo option hope that helps!
Andy! Posted May 24, 2004 Author Posted May 24, 2004 yeah I have just found it all in the manual :)Thanks everyone for your help. I am doing a play called bright and need everything to flash "bright" now and then!
