PJLinke Posted January 14, 2009 Share Posted January 14, 2009 First let me start by saying I'm kind of new at this stuff so some of my wording may be way off. I have a patch panel that I believe is called a parallel bus bar patch panel. It has about 70 horizontal bars with a slider the snaps in and out of a corresponding dimmer control. The board is fairly old and several of the sliders have broken and I would like to replace them. I did a few searches on the internet and have found nothing. Does anyone have any idea a) what those little sliders are called so I could do a more accurate search and/or b) where I could find such a thing. gareth Posted January 14, 2009 Share Posted January 14, 2009 Hi PJ. The kind of patch panel that you describe is fairly uniquely American (if I understand you correctly, anyway!). The vast majority of the membership here is UK-based (although we do have a few people from your side of the Atlantic), so I don't know whether you'll get much help from us. What I'd suggest is to try posting your question on The LightNetwork - there are far more people from your part of the world hanging around on there, and as such you'll probably stand more chance of getting the information you need.
