Tom
Does anybody have any 1930's or other Bakelite sockets and or plugs Need a few for our next show as dressing and for running in pracs. Not overly fussed if they are not exact period as they'll be fairly well hidden. Be happy to purchase but happier to borrow them. Feel free to email me off board toma@hampsteadtheatre.com Thanks in advance T
Modge
If you want to give Tev a shout (contact details on the stagebus website linked to in my .sig) he definitely has some of the old bakalight plugs kicking about, less sure about the sockets. adam2
Car boot sales and junk shops often have old electrical fittings for sale. Also try asking local electricians for old items removed during re-wires. Depending on age and condition though they may not be suitable for mains voltage use, if the fittings are required to be used to supply or control practicals, then it might be prudent to only use them on 12/24 volts.
