Oliver S Posted January 7, 2009 Share Posted January 7, 2009 I currently live in south africa and am involved with various technical aspects, however I would like to broaden my skills and also adapt the use of pyrotechnics to different shows... I am 17 years old and turn 18 at the end of this year... What I wanted to know was if anyone knows of a course I could do here in S.A. to obtain a license or certificate to fire pyrotechnics...mainly for stage now, but later I wouldn't mind also having the license cover outdoor displays such as large scale fireworks.... Roderick Posted January 8, 2009 Share Posted January 8, 2009 My suggestion is to contact a few of the larger fireworks companies in South Africa.If they don't provide the training themselves, they will know who does and be able to give you advice.It is also a nice introduction with the company and they may even keep your details on their books.
