Tort Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 I've been trying to preprogramme some of the panto at home (leds, disco scanners and site flood lights! all round the living room) and all's ok apart from one sequence of cues in the middle. The problem is the cue appears to run (the count down starts) but the lanterns do not respond. They then all snap on at once. Anything simple? All the rest of the cues are ok. many thanks
tvi675 Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 Assuming you've set a fade time on the cue, at what point do they all snap? Are these just standard HTP dimmers or something else that is snapping? It could be one of a number of reasons, probably the easiest thing is to email me your show file - matt@chamsys.co.uk - let me know which cue it is and I'll take a look at it for you. Regards, Matt
Tort Posted December 28, 2008 Author Posted December 28, 2008 many thanks for your response, but it is the free version I'm using - I dont expect manufactures support with that! I'll boot up that pc later and see if I can resolve the issue again. It is only a sequence of three cues and Im using a mixture of Leds and a Showtec multidim. I have to admit to being very impressed with the software, I've still got three weeks to go so need the challenge.
tvi675 Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 The support offer is there! Anything to stop me spending too much of my Christmas holiday on the new Xbox One thing to check is the fuller views of the cue timing. Go into the Cue Stack, run the cue and hit VIEW CUE up the top. You'll then have VIEW TIMES up the top which in the simple view will show Int in, Int out, Pos, Col and Beam times. If all of these fade times look ok then go into the advanced view. Here you'll see the fade times on every attribute of every fixture. Matt
Tort Posted December 29, 2008 Author Posted December 29, 2008 problem solved! Somebody had programmed a delay time in. Really obvious when your looking for it!
