luisdjar Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 Hello!im a mobile DJ in Argentina, I own a SGM Pilot 1600 but now I need something bigger.im looking the Pilot 2000, seems to be good, I like the pre recorded movements, could be good to me, since sometimes we dont have so much time to program. is a good desk? easy to use? I noticed dont have cross and time controls like the old 1600., is that a problem? I need to buy two units, since I often rent to others dj. equipment is: 8 moving heads (9 to 16ch), 4 roboscan 518, 4mx1, 16 par led, 1 destroyer, DMX flash, not all stuff is used togheter. thanks!!! Luis
Ben Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 Hi Luis The Pilot 2000 is a very good desk, easy to use and is a very good replacement for the 1600. If anything the desk is far easier to use than the old one and is really very intuitive. That said this is my opinion and others will feel differently, speak to your local distributor and ask for a Demo, play yourself and see what you think. Ben
MachLight Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 hi luis lightdesign am here in Brazil - Paraná Maringá, I worked a long time with the Console PILOT-2000 SGM, I noticed that you want to take your questions about this console, reading your post, and responding. can buy the console but because he is great for Nightclubs, nightclubs, etc. .. with it you can have programs slow and fast .. with the fader you can adjust in his work or chase scene .. and also can add or create fixture (equipment) in its internal library. att: Mr. Marchiori machlight@hotmail.com
