minimac Posted May 17, 2004 Posted May 17, 2004 hi there, who makes the gobo's for minimacs, is it rosco? couldn't find it on there website. cheers
vinny baby Posted May 17, 2004 Posted May 17, 2004 I think the gobos can be bought direct from martin, they have a stock gobo list to fit the minimac. but most gobo manufacturers will make them Outside diameter: 22.5 mm + 0/- 0.3 mm (0.886 in +0/- 0.012 in) Maximum image diameter: 17.0 mm (0.669 in) Maximum thickness: 1.1 mm (0.043 in) that is the atributes for the mini mac gobo vince
Stu Posted May 17, 2004 Posted May 17, 2004 how did u know that?! Manuals are wonderful things. As for who makes them, well I expect anyone who makes custom gobos will make you a Minimac one if you give them the artwork and the required size. BTW, DHA are doing customs for £30 now! Thats a hell of alot cheaper than it used to be, I'm sure.... I once paid £75 for the first, and £7 after that! Stu
vinny baby Posted May 17, 2004 Posted May 17, 2004 how did u know that?! doesnt everybody?? the martin website I find aspecialy helpfull :(
Big Dave Posted May 18, 2004 Posted May 18, 2004 Also try Projected Image. They are normally cheaper than DHA although they only produce Gobos in glass
Cwest Posted June 2, 2004 Posted June 2, 2004 Almost any gobo manufacturer will make gobo’s for almost any light. You can often just say I want this gobo for a MiniMac and they will know what you’re talking about.
Kelite Posted June 3, 2004 Posted June 3, 2004 I'm with Chris- Just specify what lighting fixture you would like the gobo to fit, and it will be done! Keith Kankovskywww.internetapollo.com
