moveing projector project

I'm making a moving projector

from an old futurelight mover I have

kicking around that moves fine

 

I'll be removing most of the head right down to

the flat chassis in the head

 

what problems will I get

I'd imagine the system does checks to

make sure the parts are there and I will have join

pins to trick the system

It will be best to get a service manual if you can, as removing the head will give you at least, mainly from power on reset searches:

Lamp error (phototransistor ?

Colour (wheel) Error Hall effect sensor

Pan Error Hall effect sensor

Tilt Error Hall effect sensor

Gobo Wheels if spot

etc

 

However a lot of these functions will be going into you projector head ?
