neild Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 All old theatres have scenery-alleys: Drottningholm (1766) near Stockholm in Sweden, Goethe-Theater (1805) in Bad Lauchstädt in Germany, Dresden Opera House (1749) in Germany. Martin Apologies for rambling off topic but... I was lucky enough to relight a show for Drottningholm last summer. If you ever find yourself bored on a wet weekend in Stockholm, check out this theatre. The engineering is truly amazing. It really shows the historical links between sailors and theatre technology. All the stage systems they use are of the original design, and really are mind blowing! It was an absolute pleasure and honour to be a part of it for a few weeks! Neil
