MrBoomal
Need to urgently get hold of a 5 pin female to 5 pin female and a 5 pin female to 3 pin female DMX adapter. All I can find on google are American sites. Can anyone help?
pritch
I've found loads of UK places that stock them: http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&s...tryUK|countryGB Of course, if you're really in a hurry, and have the connectors and some cable, it's a relatively simple job to make some up yourself. boatman
I've found loads of UK places that stock them: http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&s...tryUK|countryGB Of course, if you're really in a hurry, and have the connectors and some cable, it's a relatively simple job to make some up yourself. Those are all male to female adaptors, but the OP is looking for female to female. Plenty of 3-pin female to 3-pin female (Linky), so he could build a small Christmas tree. Cable and connectors is definitely the way to go. PS if you add 06 to the end of that CPC part number you'll get them for only £1.75 until the end of January '09. :)

p.k.roberts
It's a bit of a 'clunky' solution, but if you really don't want to get the soldering iron out then a combination of CPC part number AV16484 and AV16481 will do this for you. djsteviec
I also think the connectors and cablesare the way to go. One other alternative to CPC that I have found was http://www.theelectronicsshop.co.uk/. they are really cheap on loads of different things. It will only take 5 minutes to solder them leads up. Jivemaster
I cannot find a f-f adaptor but a mix and match from the terralec DMXAD1 and DMXAD2 with some of the associated (non neutrik!) plugs and sockets and some light metalwork could give you a body with two f connectors. Done well it would be OK anything less and you would be better to make up the leads with the necessary connectors http://www.terralec.co.uk/dmx_leads_and_ca...le/16136_p.htmlhttp://www.terralec.co.uk/dmx_leads_and_ca...le/16137_p.html
boswell
The part you need is Neutrik NA5FF, but as I think you have found there does not seem to be any UK suppliers,Try contacting Neutrik UK
revbobuk
Don't neutrik do a housing which can take D-type connectors each end, and which could then be wired just as you desire?
c.cam108
Yes. I saw it in a catalogue earlier, but for the life of me can't remember which one. I'll have a look. It is the type that is two black half-shells that a D-type screws into either end. Colin C A concurrent post has been automatically merged from this point on. Found it. CPC order code AV18089.
