I might be using robe 160xts

 

what are they like, has anyone used them, tips etc.

as you know ben I have quite a few of these, (8 in total) they are very very good, the optics are superb and are much better than the mini mac.

 

if you have the choice I would got a step up to the 170AT, these are still single arm fixtures but they have the facility of remote focus, remote lamp on/off, and index function.

 

I would show you some pics but I havent got any at present, apart from the 1 below, which just shows the brightness of the lamp.

 

Im quite happy with ROBE's products at the moment, and im not just saying that beacuse of my endorsement with them. They areally are top end fixtures, and its already been said that ROBE are the new MARTIN.

 

cant see that at the moment, but give them a couple of years when they have built up a large client base, I can see them as being worthy rivals to Martin.

there is always one clever dude :(

 

the camera couldnt even focus right, they are that bright, I had to take the exsposure down by loads,

 

but you can still see the high brightness from the pic.

These are very good lights and will fit nicely with the rest of your rig.

I've written many posts confirming the joy of using Robe fixtures, have a search through lighting over the past 3 months. Have currently got 150Xt's 160Xt's and DJScan250's and they are all great lights for the money, we will be going for some of their big boys over the summer....

er, its sort of an electronic music concert at a unim not very upbeat, gobos might be good though, if we can get heads at the price we are getting them we might aswell
