jamed2017 Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Hey folks, Got quite into this DJing thing now and have developed a small rig. But I'm after putting my 22" monitor onto one of the cross bars to be used as a karaokee display or to run slide shows / videos .etc you get the idea. Just wondering if there is a clamp that I can do this with. My monitor is vesa aswell. CheersJimmy
peternewman Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 CPC sell one, as I saw it in one of their offer leaflets a few months ago, as to the code, either search or wait for Mr Beesley to come along. Otherwise I'd imagine Unicol would do something suitable.
Floydey Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Something like this? http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/level5/module.j...=cpc/499816.xml
peternewman Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Nice searching Floydey, that's the exact one I saw in the brochures.
djw1981 Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Having seen this link, I'm going to be using one this weekend, and will report back, because at that price it seems almost too good to be true!
djw1981 Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 The unit seems quite robust and has nice chunky bolts (with supplied allen key) to tighten it. The VESA mounting comes with mounting screws - handy because the ones on our TFT were too short. The whole thing looked rather neat (sadly it is white, but a strip of gaffer solved that. The clamp part has a rubber strip to avoid scratching the loudspeaker stand we were using as a support.
