deranged-angel Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 I once found that using the earth pin from a 13amp plug undid something that we couldnt fing an allen key or tool for. The problem is, I can't remember for the life of me what it was for....... It was something in the fringe last year. hmmm.... damn memory...Andrew, jev or richard, can you remember? May have been soemthing to do with the scaff or soemthing around it...... emxxx
Ike Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 I carry a selection of insulated tools; wir cutters, screwdrives, pliers etc.
smeggie Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 add a good quality bag if you are going to be carrying it for long distances - I use a military daysack for when I am carrying all my kit at once. iirc, the pin can be good for locking down snap braces[or at least it did when we used it once] a small reel of mains wire can be good too. cheersandrew
gareth Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 The single most useful tool I've ever bought - a quad spanner from Flints. 13/17/19/21mm ratchet ring spanners all in one well-made heavy-duty tool. Fantastic.

TomLyall Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 small hammerwhy would one want such an item!?!? :) how about a padlock or two, helps secure things and stop sticky fingered SMs, either by applying the padlock to the stuff or the SM, you decide!
