Mac 250 Sales

Hello All,

Got some money at the the beginning of the Tax year looking to buy about 6 mac` 250's, got a quote from Stage at £1200 each and one from AC for £975 each.

I was just wandering with the amount of lampies on here does anybody know could I get them cheaper anywhere else.

Also buying 4 atomics and some molephays, any advice that you could us I thank you in advance.

Would those be the half dozen ex-demo 250+'s that they have on their second-hand list at the moment? Seems like quite a good deal.

 

I'd definitely recommend shelling out a few extra pounds for the 250+ over the standard 250. You could also see what deals you can get on Robe fixtures - I only ever hear good things about them, so they must be OK! (Never used any in anger myself, other than a fiddle around at trade shows, but I've got some on a little job next week ...)

As Gareth said, I'd be reluctant to invest in 250s over 250+s. Especially if there is only £50 in it.

Pretty good deal - as I'd expect from AC, what with them being thoroughly decent chaps, and all that! Probably worth asking them what they could do for you on some Robe Spot250's, too - and if possible, have a play with a Mac and a Robe side-by-side and see which one best fits the bill.

If it's only a case of £50/fixture, then go for the 250+'s over the straight 250's. Next time someone asks you to project some corporate logos for a conference or something, you'll be so glad you went for the one with indexing gobos!
