stevie
Hello I need someone to make up a version 17 WYSIWYG plot for me, can you help? I'm Norfolk based and someone local would be ideal but I'm sure it can be achieved by email. Thanks Stevie

Do you mean prgram a show on a console using Release 17 or do you mean draw up a design using R 17.
stevie
Sorry for the confusion Draw up the design in version 17 so that I can then programme the console myself Thanks Stevie
J Henshaw
stevie, Are you basically asking for an LD to produce a rig design for a show. Then send you details of a cue to cue, telling you what fixtures and in each cue and what they are doing. This can be done but you really must clarify exactly what you want. It appears to me that you want someone to Light a show or event using WYSIWYG but without having them on site. Please give us more details James
stevie
Here's the thing I have to pre-programme a show in a Wysiwyg studio with a Hog 3 console and wysiwyg version 17. I will have access to neither the console nor wysiwyg version 17 until I get there. To get ahead of the game I'm looking for someone who will take the lighting plot and the patch list and do whatever it is you do with this information to provide me with a wyg file that I can take to the studio and load into the wysiwyg computer so that when the console is connected I can see the visualisation on the wysiwyg computer. hope this helps Stevie

It can be very time consuming depending on how complex the rig is. The other thing is that R17 is well out of date now and if you are using newer fixtures they won't be available in R17. stevie
Thanks to everyone who commented and to those who've been in touch. the upshot of this problem is that I'm going to use a UK based ver22 studio. The problems are too numerous to deal with and despite the fact that the version 17 studio had been on offer "for nothing' the consensus is that it would be false economy to attempt an excercise where few of the actual fixtures were available in ver 17. thanks again stevie
