Nickwoolley
Hi All, Just some advice please, we are looking at buying a laser pointer to position our chainhoists in the grid. Our grid is about 16m high and I was wondering if people knew that a cheapo laser pointer from Maplin would reach those kind of distances? Cheers Nick
aidso
best bet. buy it and try it. Its only a few quid so wont break the bank if it doesnt. I have seen these go 50M I have also seen them struggle at 10M.
gareth
It's more than just a simple laser pointer that you need - it's something like this.

Simon Lewis
Yup... another thumbs up for B&Q... I bought a Fat Max for £65 from them last week. Great bit of kit, and works fine with our 9m high ceiling. The Screwfix offering is from deWalt - well built but more pricey.
