frazer
Hello, I have a Light Processor Dimension Dimmer with two triacs that have failed open circuit. The Triacs currently installed are BTA12 600BW however I was wandering whether BTA16 600B would be a suitable replacement? The reason I ask is that I have some BTA16 600Bs immediately available to me and would like to get these dimmer channels working as soon as possible. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Frazer Edit: My apologies, I appear to have written Paradime dimmer in the title - I do mean Dimension. Moderators feel free to change this if you feel it is necessary. KevinE
The absence of the W in the part number means they are not snubberless and must be only fitted to circuits containing external snubbers to operate correctly with reactive loads. If the 600BW is factory fitted, fit new ones with the 'W' as well.
