Jonathan Mellor
I'm considering putting castors on the back of my 118S's, as they're pretty heavy to load/unload into venues, but I don't know how the casing's constructed, so I don't want to just blindly screw straight into the wood and damage internal wiring etc... is attaching castors on the back the best way, or is a wheelie board for each sub better? johndenim
I think you'll be ok to screw casters on each corner, as its a passive unit there isnt much chance that you could damage anything. See this recent thread regarding locking ones. You could also use a dolly board, I use one of these trolleys which are only £25 from screwfix. John Denim. Ken Hughes
Jonathon Would suggest that "screwing" castors on the back of the cab is not the way to go. Four decent 100mm swivel castors (locking or non-locking) fitted using 8mm teenuts and bolts - should last you 20+ years or so. It's an easier job than you might think. Jonathan Mellor
thanks for the help, I'm going with the teenuts and bolts, as I want the castors to stay on
