Jazzhands
well there a bit heavier than I first thought. More annoying is the holes on the side make it a tricky lift onto poles! Have started lying down the poles first. Much better!! Sound really good though!
Rob_Beech
Laying down the poles is often easier. I do that when I use them particularly on larger poles. The same applies to me TQ445. The handles are covered up by the flying yokes so difficult to get on stands. Laying the stand flat and lifting up into place is much easier. Especially with the larger stands I use where their minimum height is about 6ft. Rob
Jazzhands
Agreed Rob. If you were putting some kick drum through my rig would you put the tops on mode B to save them trying too hard when you have the subs or should the 315`s handle that no problem? Working with a band this weekend and wondering about how to configure. KNow exactly what you mean about the 315`s compared with the 115`s just more powerful by a mile. would you rate the 115`s? they are really easy to fit in the car
Rob_Beech
the 115's are a great box but they'll never keep up with a 315. I run systems comprising of 2 TQ425 and 1 TQ445 and the 445 is only a little bit louder than the 315. That's the same as 4 115's to each top. It all depends what you are after. Jazzhands
I think for me they`re great! I`m learning as I go, but think the tops alone are worth near what I payed and seem to be able to handle a lot of power with clarity. really pleased with them. thanks for your time Rob
Jazzhands
Just a quick question on storage! I have the Pa in an insulated part of my garage and am keeping the temp at about 5-10 degrees. There`s not much in the way of moisture is this fine for the pa or does it need to be warmer? Awaiting covers which I know will help . . . .
