Techno_Monkey Posted April 24, 2004 Posted April 24, 2004 Our school is just in the process of moving to our new state of the art building complete with 2 nice new drama studios, TV studio and main hall. I went in a couple of days ago to help rig lanterns in the drama studios etc etc We finish rigging (mix of generic and moving fixtures - MAC 250's), plug in the new shinny Fat Frog desk and have a bit of a play - however I could not for the life of me find the focus control for the 250's. :( Does anyone know where this control normally is and if their are any know problems?? The desk is running version 9.0.1 Many Thanks Mr Monkey
Stu Posted April 24, 2004 Posted April 24, 2004 Should be under Beamshape... On which page I can't remember, but flick through all the options using the button nestled within the thumbwheels and hopefully it should be there. HTHStu
peter Posted April 24, 2004 Posted April 24, 2004 Just as a side note, you should probably download the latest version of the software (9.6) - it can be found on the Zero88 website, here. It contains some bug fixes from 9.0.1 which could confuse you unless you update (things like yes and no being the wrong way around!)
sam.henderson Posted April 24, 2004 Posted April 24, 2004 The Button Stu refers to is called the wheel group button. Go to beamshape and then press this button- it will cycle through all the parameters and eventually it will come to Focus. For more info on how to use the baord why not have a look at my training program (link in my sig). Lucky you with a new building. TV studio?? Never heard of one of these in a school is it an arts school?? Sam
Techno_Monkey Posted April 25, 2004 Author Posted April 25, 2004 Lucky you with a new building. TV studio?? Never heard of one of these in a school is it an arts school?? Not really, being on an island there are political issues with naming a particular school/college as a specialist in a certain subject. However both the media and drama departments are extremeley well equipped and the work produced is normally of a very good standard, so in a sense, yeah it could be called an art college (certainly 1 of if not the top schools/colleges in Jersey)

RE- Frog Training ProgramI am currently making some modifications to the program and just adding a few more features.
